Karen Moran

Karen Moran was born in Ecuador the 6th of May of 1982 and came to the United States at the age of 15. Karen obtained a B.A. in Film Production from Brooklyn College where her short film, Hopeless Love was nominated for best editing by the college’s Film Department in 2008. Karen’s documentary, Gathering Strength won the Saperstein Foundation Prize for best documentary in the Fall of 2011. Currently, Karen Moran is working as an assistant editor at Firelight Films.
